DROP SINS IN THIS MONTH OF RAMADAAN!
ﻳَﺎ ﺫَﺍ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﻣَﺎ ﻛﻔﺎﻩُ ﺍﻟﺬَّﻧْﺐُ ﻓﻲ ﺭَﺟﺐٍ
Oh you who is not as appeased with sins committed in the month of Rajab.
ﺣَﺘَّﻰ ﻋَﺼَﻰ ﺭﺑَّﻪُ ﻓﻲ ﺷﻬﺮ ﺷﻌﺒﺎﻥِ
Continuously you contravene your Lord into the month of Sha'baan.
ﻟَﻘَﺪْ ﺃﻇَﻠَّﻚَ ﺷﻬﺮُ ﺍﻟﺼَّﻮﻡِ ﺑَﻌْﺪَﻫُﻤَﺎ
Certainly another month of fasting (Ramadaan) has shielded you up after those months (Rajab and Sha'baan).
ﻓَﻼَ ﺗُﺼَﻴِّﺮْﻩُ ﺃَﻳْﻀًﺎ ﺷَﻬْﺮَ ﻋِﺼْﻴﺎﻥِ
So do not distort in disobedience once again as you did in (Rajab and Sha'baan).
ﻭَﺍﺗْﻞ ﺍﻟﻘُﺮﺍﻥَ ﻭَﺳَﺒِّﺢْ ﻓﻴﻪِ ﻣﺠﺘَﻬِﺪًﺍ
Read the Qur'aan and glorify Allaah in every effort.
ﻓَﺈِﻧﻪ ﺷَﻬْﺮُ ﺗﺴﺒِﻴﺢٍ ﻭﻗُﺮْﺁﻥِ
Because the month of Ramadan is a month of glorification and recitation of Al-Qur'aan.
ﻛﻨﺖَ ﺗﻌﺮِﻑ ﻣﻤَّﻦْ ﺻَﺎﻡ ﻓﻲ ﺳَﻠَﻒٍ
Numerous of people who you know they fasted amongst those who are gone (deceased).
ﻣِﻦْ ﺑﻴﻦ ﺃﻫﻞٍ ﻭﺟِﻴﺮﺍﻥٍ ﻭﺇﺧْﻮَﺍني
Amongst them are your relatives, neighbors and friends.
ﺃﻓْﻨَﺎﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟﻤﻮﺕُ ﻭﺍﺳْﺘﺒْﻘَﺎﻙَ ﺑَﻌْﺪﻫﻢُ
Death has taken them away and Allaah spare your life after them.
(ﺣَﻴًّﺎ) ﻓَﻤَﺎ ﺃﻗْﺮَﺏَ ﺍﻟﻘﺎﺻِﻲ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺪﺍﻧِﻲ
(Living) what is far away is approaching (i.e death).
May Almighty Allaah accept our fasting as an act of worship.
