THE LEADERSHIP OF THE 21st CENTURY

Successful people discovered their strengths. Successful leaders discovered other people's strengths.
Successful people positioned themselves well. Successful leaders positioned others well.
Successful people are remembered for their achievements. Successful leaders are remembered for their impact.
Successful people tapped into their emotions to get BIG things done. Successful leaders tapped into the emotions of their people to get BIGGER things done.
The most interesting thing about leadership is we don't need a TITLE to be a good LEADER. Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Theresa were two of the most successful leaders of the 20th century, yet they had no official title.
In this digital age, our world is yearning for good leaders, especially in Africa. In politics, business, religion, technology and education, there are stupendous vacancies for GOOD LEADERS.
The Leadership of the 21st century requires vision, humility, courage, wisdom, discretion, problem solving, responsibility, result-oriented and patience. But more than these, the fulcrum of the leadership of the 21st is LOVE. Good Leaders fall in love with their people and put their needs first.
Listen closely, it doesn't matter what you do or where you are in the ladder of success or fulfilment. If you can strive hard to always positively influence people and make a difference in their lives you are already a leader.
I love teaching leadership, it's always interesting. Hmmm...
Remember, you are a LEADER of men. And deep inside you is the reservoir of talents and abilities to become a BETTER leader. There is always a room for improvement.
Many thanks for reading.
I SALUTE YOU!
